Your Ballet Photos – October 15th 2012

Today is another blog post that showcases some of my favorite photos the fans of Ballet Zaida have submitted.

This shot by labellanatalie is lovely. I think black and white was a great choice for the editing. The poses the dancer is in are different, yet similar to each other, and they work well with the composition of the environment.

In this shot by Helenballerina, the sun’s glare combined with the silhouetted Pas De Deux, creates a great romantic atmosphere, like something from a story ballet.

This photo by JeritidwellPhotography is very cute. The placement of where the girl is dancing is well done, the lighting is amazing, and the setting the girl is in is ridiculously gorgeous.

I love the soft tones of this shot. It’s a very urban and grungy environment, but the choice of outfit, pose, and colors, makes the photo feel soft and light.

This photo by ilydestineeee is very mythical. The dress she’s wearing combined with the pillars make it feel like something from a different time period.

I love the location in this shot. The fountain frames the dancer nicely, and the lighting is good. The tendu pose the dancer is in works well for the shot, and the white leotard with black shorts compliments the colors of the fountain.

This dancer’s jump is great! Her feet are both well shaped, the height is excellent, and she’s even over-splitting a little. Great job Th3_1n_only.

This shot is very pretty. The flowers in the background create nice colors and bokeh, the dancer’s pose and expression are both very whimsical, and the soft editing makes it all come together.

Instagram Username: Its_nikkayy

Its_nikkayy in this photo is showcasing an excellent extension side. This position is not an easy one to do, and she’s making it look effortless.

Instagram Username: Emmaclarem

Emmaclarem’s bottom foot shape in this shot is great, it’s creating a nice S curve. Also, I like the outfit and hair choice. That tutu looks excellent.

Dancer - Audrey Trottier.

Photographer - Juanita Atencio.

This shot by photographer Juanita is very whimsical. The out of focus trees look great and work well with the relaxing pose the dancer is in.

Instagram Username: Clocifer

I love the framing in this photo by Clocifer. Placing the dancer on the right and using a square crop makes for a great composition. Not to mention the dancer’s backbend is incredibile, and the outfit choice looks great.

These are just a few of the many amazing shots submitted by the fans of Ballet Zaida. I’ll be doing another blog post in the near future showcasing more of your ballet photos.
